Graduate Horticulturist. Long time favorite of many customers for expert knowledge on all things horticulture! Also our main gift buyer, due to keen eye for what really looks good. Almost 30 years of experience! Michael Is the go to guy if you have questions on Fountains, House Plants or Indoor Decor.
Davis SandersGraduate Horticulturist. Also around 30 years in the business. A wealth of knowledge (like an encyclopedia!) on all things horticultural and ponds! Excellent eye for design concepts, as well. We call him the Assistant Guru to all, although he knows more than anybody else around here. If you want good help, ask for Davis!
Nikki Weed (Cyber Geek)

 

Professional Horticulturist. Over 10 years of nursery experience. Vast knowledge of most aspects of horticultural topics with a good eye for design problem solving. Container gardening expert and our “media celebrity”, having appeared on numerous TV garden shows and news reports. She’s a lot smarter than she looks!
Alyx ClementsA former employee from long ago has come back! Alyx is a self taught vegetable & herb gardener extraordinaire, and her organic home garden has been featured in local media and garden tours! She’s an advocate of Urban Gardening AND one heck of a Dancer. If you need motherly advise, or just some garden questions answered, ask for Alyx!
Mike Thomas
Landscape Foreman. Over 14 years in the industry, 12 years at South Pleasantburg Nursery. Our main “behind the scenes” do-everything guy. In addition to landscape installations, Mike has helped built over 100 ponds with Jim Borenstein.
Peggy Holdridge
Office Manager, bookkeeper, bill-payer and “den-mother” for over 25 years! Although she can answer many plant questions, she prefers to stay in the background.
